As, an "apartment" is a description of a physical thing, like a house or a factory or an igloo. A "condominium", however, is a legally defined term for a type of ownership structure.

Why the Rent vs. Buy Debate Is Completely Pointless?
After saving up for a long time, one of my friend recently bought a home with me, which caught some of my friends off guard. “I thought you were anti-homeownership,” they said, because I think renting is underrated. Even as a REALTOR, I still think renting is underrated. That doesn’t mean buying is a wrong decision. The rent vs. buy debate is just silly overall. It ignores the enormous grey area that exists between the two options.
Foreclosure v.s. Power of Sale
In the unfortunate circumstance that a homeowner is past-due on their monthly mortgage payments, they pave the way for a “foreclosure” on their property. In today’s market, banks and other lenders do not turn to foreclosure to take away the homes of homeowners who are in arrears. Instead, they perform a "Power of Sale" which is wholly different from a Foreclosure.
